On Instance Details you can see details of the Instance used in the Deka Prime project. You can configure the Instance by adding a NIC, and changing the password used on the Instance.
The General tab displays the details used by the virtual machine instance on Deka Prime including Name, State, Computer Name, Description, Operating System, Boot Delay, Storage Policy, Virtual Data Center, Owner, VMware Tools, Virtual Hardware Version, Enter BIOS Setup.
Name
Displays the name of the virtual machine on the Instance.
State
Displays the status of the virtual machine, whether it is active, displayed with POWERED_ON or dead, displayed with POWERED_OFF.
Computer Name
Displays the name of the computer the Instance is using.
Description
Shows additional explanation about the Instance.
Operating System
Displays information about the operating system used by the virtual machine on the instance.
Boot Delay
Displays information about the set delay time before the operating system on the virtual machine starts booting.
Storage Policy
Displays the storage policy for how data is stored and protected in the Cloudeka portal service infrastructure.
Virtual Data Center
Displays data center information used by the virtual machine on the Instance.
Owner
Displays the name information of the user responsible for the Instance.
VMware Tools
Displays information on software packages installed in the virtual machine on the Instance to improve virtual machine performance.
Virtual Hardware Version
Displays hardware version information used by the virtual machine on the instance.
Enter BIOS Setup
Displays information that allows administrators to enter the virtual machine BIOS interface on the Instance.
The Removable Media tab displays data storage devices that can be connected to virtual machines on the Instance.
The Hard Disk tab displays details of the VM Storage Policy used.
The Compute tab displays details of the CPU and Memory used by the Instance.
The NICs tab displays the Network Interface Card software on the Instance that is used to connect the virtual network to the Instance. You can add NICs used on the Instance. For further explanation, see sub-chapter Configuration NICs.
The Guest OS tab displays the operating system running on the Instance. You can configure the Guest OS to update the password used by the OS Instance, for further explanation, see sub-chapter Configuration Guest OS.
The Guest Properties tab displays to manage virtual machines with the aim of monitoring, automating and managing virtual machines in the Instance.
The Monitoring Chart tab is used to visually analyze system performance.
The Sharing tab is used to share physical resources between virtual machines which allows more efficient and flexible use of resources.
The Monitor Task tab is used to monitor activities that occur on virtual machines in the Instance.
The Monitor Event tab is used to monitor activities that occur on virtual machines in the Instance, allowing administrators to track changes that occur so that they can assist in troubleshooting.
