# Delete a snapshot for Instance

* Select the Images menu. The Images page of the Snapshot column will appear.

* In the **Action** column, select **More** then click **Delete**.

* A pop-up will appear to confirm whether you really want to delete the snapshot or not. Click the **Delete** button if you want to delete or **Cancel** to cancel deleting the snapshot.

* There is a notification if the snapshot has been successfully deleted **"Snapshot has been successfully deleted"**.
