# Restore a snapshot for Instance

To restore an instance, you must turn off your instance.

* In the **Action** column, select **More** then click **Restore Instance.**

* Select the **instance** you want to restore (eg **"techWriter-windows"**), then click the **Restore Instance** button.

* A pop up will appear to confirm that you want to restore the instance, select **Restore Instance** for restore or **Cancel** if you want to restore.
