Configuration TCP

In the TCP configuration on the Load Balancer you have to configure the Backend section first, then the Frontend configuration. Follow these steps for Backend configuration on Load Balancer.

  • On the Network page, click the Load Balancer tab. Click the Configuration button in the Action column.

  • On the Load Balancer Configuration page, click the Backend tab, and click Create Backend.

  • On the Create Backend page, fill in the form available. When you finish filling in the form click the Create Backend button.

Column Description
Name Backend configuration name and for backend naming characters can only use A-Z,a-z, and _ underscore.
Load Balance Method This column contains three options: Roundrobin, Least Connection, and Source. This section chooses Roundrobin.
Mode There are two modes: HTTP and TCP. Because this section is the backend configuration for TCP so choose TCP.
Advanced Check There are 2 options including the following:
a. SSL Hello Check
b. TCP Check.
In this section select TCP Check.
Servers Click the Add Servers button if you need more than 1 server. You only need to fill in Server Name, Server Port, Max Connection, dan Weight.

  • Display the Backend Configuration has successfully created!

Load Balancer - Create Backend Success

After you configure the backend for TCP mode, the next step is to configure the TCP Load Balancer frontend by following these steps:

  • On the Configuration Load Balancer click Frontend tab, and click Create Frontend.

  • On the Create Frontend page, fill in the form available. After completing all forms click the Create Frontend button.

Column Description
Name Nama konfigurasi frontend dan untuk karakter penamaan frontend hanya dapat menggunakan A-Z,a-z, dan _ underscore.
Default Backend Select the TCP Backend that was previously created.
Addtional Backend You can add additional Backends by clicking Add Backend and filling in the Backend Name, ACL Name, Criteria, Value, and Condition.
Bind Address There are 2 options Internal and Internet, select Internet.
Mode Select TCP.
Bind Port In this section Fill the port with port 80.

  • Frontend Configuration has successfully created! a notification appears that the Load Balancer frontend configuration has been added.
